The wedding ceremony and reception will be on January 3, 2026, Saturday in Cebu, Philippines. We recommend arriving at least a day or two early to relax and enjoy Mactan Island and Cebu!

The wedding will be at the National Shrine of Saint Joseph. It is one of Cebu’s oldest and most historically rich churches. It traces its origins back to the early 1600s when the Jesuits first established a mission in the area. In 1768, when the Jesuits were expelled from the Philippines, the Augustinian friars took over and continued the mission, eventually building the current church structure. Dedicated to Saint Joseph, this is the only church in the Philippines where he is honored as the patron saint, making it a unique spiritual landmark. Over the centuries, Mandaue Church has become a vital part of the city’s cultural and religious life.

The wedding ceremony will start at 2:20 PM.

The reception will be held at Marquee, at Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu, a beautiful beachfront resort. We highly encourage guests to take a stroll around the resort before the reception party begins!

Cocktail hours at Shangri-La Mactan will be from 4:30 - 6:30 PM. The reception is expected to start at 6:30 PM at Marquee.

Please book your flight to Mactan-Cebu International Airport (CEB). It’s about 20 minutes from the venue and most of the resorts.

We request guests to find their way from their hotels / houses to the church. Grab is readily available in Mactan Island and Cebu City. For transportation from the church to the reception venue, which is around a 30-40 minute drive away, there will be cars/shuttles available.
